Hello Creatives,

Step into a world of literary wonder as we mark our podcast's second anniversary with the launch of our guest reader series.
Scriptwriter and radio presenter Josh Anderson-Grey takes the microphone, bringing his warm, expressive voice to a collection of timeless poetry and classic fairy tales.

The journey begins with Victor Hugo's haunting "To Cruel Ocean," where waves whisper tales of the deep to those who dwell on shore.
Emma Lazarus follows with her powerful meditation "Work," reminding us that life holds "unbounded wealth" for those who persevere through difficulties.
The poetic journey continues with Charles Sagster's contemplative "Malcolm," which ponders the infinite potential residing in youth.

Josh then transports listeners to the enchanting realm of the Brothers Grimm.
"The Fox and the Horse" celebrates loyalty and cleverness as an ageing horse outwits a lion to regain his place in the stable. "The Turnip" weaves a tale of two brothers—one content despite poverty, the other consumed by greed despite wealth—culminating in a humorous encounter with a "sack of wisdom." The collection concludes with the beloved "Elves and the Shoemaker," where mysterious helpers bring prosperity to a struggling craftsman, who in turn rewards their kindness with gifts of clothing.

Throughout this special anniversary episode, Josh's thoughtful interpretation breathes new life into these classic works.
His pacing and intonation create an intimate listening experience perfect for those quiet moments when you're seeking literary escape. Whether you're a poetry enthusiast or a lover of fairy tales, this carefully curated selection offers something to delight your imagination and warm your heart.
